Because of the city’s historical preservation requirements, guests may notice a few older or worn-down homes nearby, including one neighboring property that is currently run down. Please note this is common in some historic areas and is not a safety concern. Due to strict historical preservation codes and renovation requirements enforced by the city, many investors and homeowners avoid remodeling certain properties because restoration costs can become significantly more expensive compared to standard renovations. We believe in being fully transparent with our guests so expectations are clear before booking. While the surrounding area may not feel like a brand-new subdivision, many guests appreciate the central location, historic atmosphere, convenience, and value this property provides compared to higher-priced accommodations nearby. Please also note there is currently no washer or dryer available on-site. If you are a very light or sensitive sleeper, we recommend bringing ear plugs for additional comfort. To help improve your stay, we also provide a white noise device with multiple relaxing sound options. • Quiet hours are strictly observed between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors and other occupants. • Parties, events, gatherings, or unauthorized guests are strictly prohibited. • Smoking, vaping, or marijuana use is not permitted inside the home under any circumstances. If smoking outside, please properly dispose of cigarette butts in the trash can and not in the bushes, yard, or grass areas. A minimum $200 additional cleaning fee will be charged for smoking inside the property. • Cats are not permitted at this property. One small dog under 20 lbs may be allowed with prior approval and payment of the pet fee included in the reservation. Dogs must be house-trained and potty-trained. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. A $250 fee will apply for pet waste left on the property. Written approval from the host is required for dogs over 20 lbs. • Pets are not allowed on beds, couches, sofas, or furniture. Please pick-up after your dog when outside and dispose of the droppings properly in the trash-bin. Any cleaning we have to do will cost extra. • Candles, incense, or open flames are prohibited indoors. • Eating on beds, couches, or sofas is not allowed to help maintain cleanliness and prevent stains or pest issues. • Please accurately disclose the number of guests staying at the property. We prepare the home based on the number of guests listed in the reservation. Unauthorized guests or failure to disclose additional guests may result in a $100 additional fee. • Check-in and check-out times must be respected unless otherwise approved by the host in writing. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in a $50 per hour charge to accommodate cleaning schedules for incoming guests. • Official check-out time is 11:00 AM. • Furniture should not be moved or rearranged. Any damages, missing items, stains, or accidents must be reported immediately. Guests are financially responsible for damages caused during their stay. • Please leave used bedding on the beds before departure. • All dirty dishes must be washed, dried, and put away before check-out. • Please take out all trash and dispose of it in the blue trash bin located outside. • Turn off lights, electronics, and small appliances when not in use. • Illegal substances, illegal activity, or weapons are strictly prohibited on the premises. • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered mail or packages sent to the property. • The front entrance door must remain closed and locked at all times. Please double-check that the door is securely locked when entering or leaving the building for the safety and security of all guests and residents. • Tampering with security cameras, WiFi equipment, routers, or smart home devices will result in a minimum $200 fine and immediate termination of the reservation if necessary. • We professionally clean and maintain the property regularly and perform preventative pest treatments throughout the year. Guests are expected to maintain reasonable cleanliness during their stay by properly storing food, disposing of trash, and avoiding food debris on floors or furniture. If excessive cleaning, pest treatment, or extermination is required due to guest negligence, guests will be responsible for the associated treatment costs. Guests will have full private access to the upstairs 2-bedroom unit along with access to the outdoor backyard amenities during their stay. Free parking is available directly in front of the building near your entrance for easy loading and unloading, along with additional street parking and extra parking available near the backyard gate/fence area. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fully fenced backyard including the fire pit, BBQ grill, outdoor seating, and swing area — perfect for relaxing evenings with family, friends, and pets. Guests must provide their own charcoal and grilling supplies for the BBQ grill and are kindly asked to fully extinguish any flames and dispose of ashes responsibly after use for everyone’s safety. Please note that while the backyard is available for guest enjoyment, any doors located at the back of the building are private areas and are not part of the guest space. We kindly ask guests not to open or access those areas during their stay.
